Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe moves to quell talks about his team gaining automatic promotion.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has insisted that his side are not favourites to achieve automatic promotion to the Championship this season.

As it stands, Howe's team are five points clear in second spot, but have played more games then their challengers.

"I still put the other teams as favourites. They have the games in hand, they are the masters of their own destiny and we're still reliant on them. They're in the box seat. We've just got to keep winning if we can," he told reporters.

Next weekend the Cherries will travel to take on Shrewsbury Town.
