Eddie Howe: 'Bournemouth dropped two points against Watford'

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe feels that his side "dropped two points" after their 1-1 draw with Watford in the Premier League.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has suggested that his side "dropped two points" after their 1-1 draw with Watford this afternoon.

The Cherries took the lead on 28 minutes through Glenn Murray, before Artur Boruc gifted an equaliser to Hornets striker Odion Ighalo, and Howe admits that the result is a disappointment for his team.

"I'm disappointed, we feel like we've dropped two points," Howe told reporters after the match. "It's a frustrating day. The key moments have gone against us.

"We looked very confident in the first half, so then it is disappointing to not see us go on and win the game.

"But that's the stage we are at. This is a learning curve for us and we have to keep progressing and improving."

Bournemouth will take on Manchester City in their next Premier League fixture on October 17.
