Ciro Immobile has insisted that he is hoping not to leave Borussia Dortmund when the transfer windows reopens in January.
The Italian, who was signed from Torino for £14.2m in the summer, has struggled to hold down a place in the side during their struggles in the Bundesliga this season, and recent reports suggested that a number of Serie A clubs were interested in his services.
However, Immobile is confident that he will hit his best form at Dortmund as he looks to battle the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Adrian Ramos for a spot in attack.
"I'm sure my time will come soon," the 24-year-old told Bild. "When you are not playing much and you expect to play more, it is normal to think of the market. That's the modern game. But it's not in my case.
"I signed a long contract with Borussia Dortmund and they all told me that the first months would be difficult, so I am not worried and am not thinking about a move."
Immobile has scored six goals in all competitions for Dortmund this season.
