Ipswich Town's Joe Garner 'wanted by Bolton Wanderers'

Bolton Wanderers reportedly prepare a £500,000 bid for Ipswich Town striker Joe Garner.

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly readying a summer bid for Ipswich Town forward Joe Garner.

According to The Sun, Trotters boss Phil Parkinson sees the former Rangers attacker as a potential replacement for Gary Madine, who left the club for Cardiff City in January.

Bolton have already signed 34-year-old striker Clayton Donaldson this summer, but Parkinson is said to be seeking further reinforcements up front.

The report suggests that Ipswich are planning a summer squad overhaul and would be willing to listen to offers for Garner.

Parkinson is said to be willing to pay £500,000 for Garner's services.
