Feeney has made just three appearances for the Lions this season, with his solitary start coming in the Capital One Cup.
The 26-year-old will now hope to feature on a regular basis for Bolton, who are currently bottom of the Championship table.
The former Bournemouth man is available for Bolton's home match with Yeovil Town on Saturday.
