Preview: Bolton Wanderers vs. Nottingham Forest

Sports Mole previews Friday's Championship clash between Bolton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest at the Reebok Stadium.

Bolton Wanderers host Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Friday looking to make it back-to-back wins at the Reebok Stadium.

The Trotters began the season with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Burnley, but they recorded a 2-0 home win over Derby County on Tuesday.

Forest, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their first two having followed a 1-0 opening-day win against Bristol City with a point at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday.

The away side are expected to make a push for the playoffs this season with new owners in tandem, while Bolton will attempt to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Bolton could recall Martin Petrov for Friday's match in place of Marvin Sordell – with Chris Eagles likely to continue on the right following his goal on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Forest have no fresh injury concerns and could remain unchanged with Simon Cox and Dexter Blackstock leading the line once more.

Possible lineups:

Bolton Wanderers: Bogdan; Mears, Knight, Mills, Ricketts; Lee, Davies M, Andrews, Eagles, Petrov; Davies K

Nottingham Forest: Camp; Maloney, Collins, Halford, Harding; Reid, Gilett, McGugan, Guedioura; Cox, Blackstock

Sports Mole says: 2-1
