Ole Gunnar Solskjaer concedes that he will not become the new manager of Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled himself out of the running for the managerial vacancy at Bolton Wanderers.

Reports had heavily linked the current Molde manager with the role, which was vacated by Owen Coyle last week.

However, former Manchester United striker Solskjaer has revealed that he has no intention of taking over at the Reebok Stadium.

"There are surely 20 names who have been linked with Bolton now and it's natural that mine is among them. But it's not for me," he told Norwegian newspaper Romsdals Budstikke.

The 39-year-old has been in charge of the Norwegian champions since November 2010.
