Ivan Klasnic hopes that Bolton Wanderers have turned a corner following Sunday's 5-0 defeat of Stoke City.

Bolton Wanderers striker Ivan Klasnic hopes that the weekend's 5-0 victory over Stoke City can spur the club on to pick up some more positive results.

The Trotters have been on a poor run of form in 2011 since Tony Pulis's men defeated them by the same scoreline in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley in April.

However, Klasnic believes that Sunday's match can help Wanderers turn a corner.

"Before the game I was with the club chaplain and we spoke about what we would pray about," he told the club's official website. "I said all the negative scores started with Stoke when we lost 5-0 in the FA Cup semi-final.

"I said this was a game we needed to win and change from the negative to the positive.

"I hope it is a good sign for us. It is a new start. I think we are going to be positive."

The Croatian international scored twice against the Potters.
