Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has revealed that he is proud of his players despite their 1-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers today.
Andrew Johnson scored the only goal of the game to consign Wanderers to their second consecutive loss.
"I felt our performance, particularly the first half, merited a goal," Freedman told reporters. "We showed great approach play; we're playing a really top team in QPR and we did very well.
"Their one and only opportunity they've cut us open and scored a goal. From then on they've showed a ruthlessness in their defending.
"I'm very proud of my lads' effort, I'm proud of what they showed."
Bolton's next game is away at Tranmere Roves in the League Cup on Tuesday.
