Blackpool equalise at the death against Nottingham Forest

Blackpool score an equalising goal with four minutes of the game left to seize a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest in today's Championship clash at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool scored an equalising goal in the last five minutes of the second half to seize a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest in today's Championship clash at Bloomfield Road.

The Reds began the game on the front foot, but a succession of crosses were cleared away by the Seasiders.

In the fourth minute, David Perkins was able to pull the ball back across the six-yard box, but the Forest defenders were able to get to it before he could strike.

On the quarter-hour mark, Danny Fox picked up the ball 30 yards out and took a shot, but it flew just wide.

Midway through the first half, an effort by Faris Haroun was parried away by Forest keeper Karl Darlow.

Just when it seemed like the players would go into the break level, Jamaal Lascelles struck in first-half injury time to put Forest a goal up.

Two minutes after the restart, Stephen Dobbie drilled a low effort that was tipped behind by Darlow. The Forest keeper was then tested again five minutes later when Andy Keogh's shot forced a save out of the 23-year-old.

Scotland striker David Goodwillie was next to threaten the Reds defence, his header flying just wide of the away team's goal. Ten minutes later, Lascelles had to be at his best to thwart a Keogh run.

Eventually, the home side broke the Forest resistance, as the dangerous Keogh headed the ball past Darlow following a surging run by Jack Robinson four minutes before the end.
