Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly eager to bring Blackburn Rovers' Chris Samba to Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly alerted Blackburn Rovers to their interest in captain Chris Samba.

The centre-back has been the subject of speculation of a possible move, linking the 27-year-old to the likes of Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur.

It is believed that the billionaire Ligue 1 side have approached the Lancashire club, which has made the French-born defender question his future, according to the Daily Mail.

It is understood that Samba will leave Steve Kean's struggling side and could earn in excess of £60,000 under Carlo Ancelotti in Paris.
