Brentford have announced the signing of promising defender Jack O'Connell from Blackburn Rovers.
O'Connell has signed a contract at Griffin Park that runs until the end of the 2017-18 season for an undisclosed fee.
"We are delighted to secure another very talented young player. Jack is a player who has significant development potential left in him," Bees boss Mark Warburton told the club's official website.
"He fits the profile of what we look for when bringing a young player in to the club. He will benefit enormously from working and playing with our senior professionals.
"Jack is a player that will add value for us on and off the pitch. I look forward to working with him."
The 20-year-old has represented England at an Under-19 level, having been brought up through the youth ranks at Rovers.
