Blackburn owners the Venky’s group are planning to meet a hand-picked group of fans to discuss the club's problems.

Blackburn Rovers owners the Venky’s group are planning to fly a group of fans to their India headquarters to discuss the club’s problems.

According to The Mirror, the Rao family will meet with a hand-picked set of fans who are active in running club forums and websites to field their opinions.

The owners’ popularity with fans has diminished since their takeover of the side, and their faith in under-fire boss Steve Kean has led the Rovers support to organise protests over his leadership.

It is understood that the surprise summit was organised before Blackburn’s 4-3 victory over Arsenal.
