Birmingham City reportedly offer new contracts to Stephen Carr and Colin Doyle.

Stephen Carr and Colin Doyle have reportedly been offered new contracts by Birmingham City.

Right-back Carr, 35, made 23 appearances for the Blues last season, but he has not featured since February because of a recurring knee injury.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old goalkeeper Doyle played 16 times, including in both legs of the club's playoff semi-final defeat to Blackpool.

Both players had been expected to leave St Andrews this summer following the expiration of their contracts but new boss Lee Clark is keen for them to stay, according to the Daily Star.

Carr captained Birmingham when the club won the Carling Cup in February 2011.
