Birmingham City refuse to comment on coaches' 'sacking'

Birmingham City refuse to comment on speculation that coaches Terry McDermott and Derek Fazackerley have been sacked.

Birmingham City have refused to comment on speculation that coaches Terry McDermott and Derek Fazackerley have been sacked.

News emerged earlier today that the duo had been fired but the club, despite releasing a statement on the matter, have given nothing away.

"[The club] acknowledges speculation surrounding the positions of employees Terry McDermott and Derek Fazackerley but has no comment to issue on the matter at this moment in time," read the statement on the club website.

The Blues have had an inconsistent season and currently lie 18th in the table.

Both McDermott and Fazackerley joined the club in 2012.
