Joaquin unveiled to crowd of thousands at Real Betis stadium

New Real Betis winger Joaquin is welcomed home by 19,000 fans as he is unveiled at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.

A crowd of 19,000 people packed into the Estadio Benito Villamarin to welcome the return of Joaquin to Real Betis.

The 34-year-old winger completed a switch back to the Seville-based club from Serie A outfit Fiorentina on Tuesday.

Joaquin, who last played for Betis between 2000 and 2006 after graduating from their youth academy, was unveiled at the club's home ground to a rapturous reception.


The former Spain international has signed a three-year deal with Los Verdiblancos, and could appear in the La Liga match against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
