Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer has admitted that the German club could still make new signings this summer.
Last season's Champions League finalists have already acquired seven new players, but Sammer has refuted suggestions that their business is complete.
"The team was good in last season's campaign, and we're not much short of very good. But perhaps we're missing that key element," Sammer told the club's official website.
"We will continue to look out for players who can add something positive to the squad. I don't rule anything out, but we're not under pressure.
"Further signings are not necessarily essential with the main emphasis being on home-grown potential. We still have good options for improving our game."
Bayern finished second in the Bundesliga last season.
