Bayern Munich complete Douglas Costa signing

Bayern Munich sign Douglas Costa from Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk.

Bayern Munich have signed Brazilian attacker Douglas Costa from Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 24-year-old, who has penned a five-year deal with the German champions, is believed to have cost in the region of £21m.

On Sunday, Costa denied that a deal had been reached with Bayern, but after returning from Copa America duty with Brazil, the move has now been confirmed.

"A dream has come true for me today," Costa told reporters.

The attacker, who can play in a number of forward positions, won five league titles during his time with Shakhtar - a club that he joined from Gremio in 2010.
