Rudi Voller believes that Bayern Munich will dominate Germany football over the coming years.

Bayer Leverkusen director of sport Rudi Voller has claimed that Bayern Munich are "miles in front" of their Bundesliga rivals.

The Bavarian giants won an historic treble last season and have already bought big this summer, bringing in Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara.

"They have never had a squad like they have now," the 53-year-old told Bild. "They don't just have 11 top players, or 15, they have 22 really top players.

"It really is overwhelming for the other clubs. Now they have also got a player like Thiago for the midfield shows just how far away they are. They are miles in front."

Pep Guardiola is the new man in charge at the Allianz Arena, having taken over from Jupp Heynckes.
