Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes confirms that he will not be managing a club next season.

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has confirmed that he will take a break from management next season.

The 68-year-old guided the German club to an historic treble during the last campaign but will step down this summer to make way for Pep Guardiola.

"I will go on holiday, won't sign a contract for the upcoming season I will think about things," Heynckes told reporters.

Bayern added to their successes in the Bundesliga and the Champions League with a 3-2 win over Stuttgart in the final of the German Cup on Saturday.
