Two sides with contrasting Bundesliga ambitions will face off on Sunday, with relegation-favourites SV Darmstadt 98 taking on Freiburg at Merck-Stadion am Bollenfalltor.

The hosts look destined for the drop this season, currently languishing at the foot of the table, while the visitors are in ninth place and still in with a shot of Conference League qualification.

While Freiburg have been inconsistent this season, they have done well against sides in the bottom half of the table and will feel that this is a match from which they should take all three points. With just two wins all season, it is difficult to make much of a case for Darmstadt here, and we feel that they will suffer their 19th loss of the campaign in this match.

The 2023-24 Bundesliga title could be decided this weekend at BayArena when champions-elect Bayer Leverkusen take on Werder Bremen in the final match of gameweek 29.

With six rounds of games left until the end of the season, Leverkusen simply need to match Bayern Munich's result in the Bundesliga this weekend to secure the title for the first time in their history.

Bayer Leverkusen have been head and shoulders better than every other side in the Bundesliga this season and now stand on the verge of claiming their first-ever league title. Die Werkself have taken on all-comers this term and we feel they will wrap up the title with a comfortable win in this one.
