West Ham United are preparing an offer for £30m-rated Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, according to a report.
The 25-year-old is one of a raft of players the Catalan giants are said to be looking to offload during the summer transfer window.
Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan, playing an important role in the fallen giants' return to the Champions League.
Sport.Es reports that Inter had hoped to land the Brazilian on a permanent transfer, but his valuation has proved to be too steep.
West Ham are said to have the funds to pounce, though, and the same report indicates that United representatives are ready to hold talks with their Barcelona counterparts.
New boss Manuel Pellegrini is attempting to put his stamp on the East Londoners, with former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure rumoured to be another target.
