Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova quells suggestions that Cesc Fabregas could depart the Camp Nou this summer.

Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova has insisted that Cesc Fabregas wants to remain with the Spanish champions this summer.

Manchester United are believed to have made a bid of £25m for the Spaniard's services on Monday, but Vilanova has cooled speculation that the former Arsenal midfielder could depart the Camp Nou.

"I am aware that we have received offers from other teams. I talked with him and he told me he wants to stay," Vilanova told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday.

United boss David Moyes has reportedly identified Fabregas as his number one transfer target this summer.
