Report: Juventus want Dani Alves on a free

A report claims that Juventus want to sign Barcelona right-back Dani Alves on a free next summer.

Juventus are reportedly hopeful of signing Barcelona right-back Dani Alves on a free transfer next summer.

The Brazilian was strongly linked with a move away from the Camp Nou this summer, but remained at the Catalan outfit beyond the transfer deadline.

Alves is widely expected to leave on a free next summer, however, with the club's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta recently hinting that the player's long-term future is not secure.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus lead the race for the attacking full-back.

Alves has started both of Barca's league games this season.
