Report: Barcelona want Kevin Gameiro

A report claims that Barcelona have identified Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro as a transfer target for this summer.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro at the end of the season.

The Catalan outfit are expected to be in the market for a new centre-forward in this summer's transfer window, but want a player that would be prepared to act as back-up to Luis Suarez.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish champions also want an attacker with proven experience in Spain and have identified French international Gameiro as their main target.

The 28-year-old has scored 60 times in 131 games for Sevilla since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013. This season, Gameiro has netted 21 goals in 43 appearances for the Europa League holders.
