Report: Barcelona want Willy Caballero

A report claims that Barcelona want to sign Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

The 32-year-old, who has been with Malaga since 2011, is widely regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in Spanish football.

The Spanish champions have successfully appealed their transfer ban, which as it stands means that they are free to sign players at the end of the season.

Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is expected to arrive as the new number one at the Camp Nou, but according to Sport, Caballero is seen as the perfect mentor.

Caballero, who has also been linked with Manchester City, has a contract with Malaga until 2017.
