Ivan Rakitic to leave Barcelona before January deadline?

Barcelona could reportedly look to sell Ivan Rakitic before the January transfer window closes for business.

The 31-year-old has made 22 appearances for the Spanish champions during the 2019-20 campaign but his long-term future at Camp Nou is believed to be far from secure.

The Croatia international has recently been linked with a switch to Juventus as part of a swap for Federico Bernardeschi, although the Italian champions have allegedly rejected Barca's latest offer.

Rakitic is also thought to be a target for Manchester United, and according to Cadena SER, the Catalan giants could attempt to sell the 2018 World Cup finalist before the end of the month.

The midfielder has only completed the full 90 minutes on two occasions in La Liga this season, while he was left out of Quique Setien's starting XI against Valencia on Saturday afternoon.

Barca, meanwhile, are believed to have seen an £85m bid for Brazil attacker Richarlison turned down by Everton, while they are also being linked with a move for Chelsea's Willian.
