Marc Bartra seeking Barcelona return?
Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra is reportedly considering leaving the club to return to Barcelona.

Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra is reportedly considering leaving the club to return to Barcelona.

According to German source Sportbuzzer, the Spaniard, who joined Dortmund 18 months ago on a four-year contract, wants a change of scenery and is seeking a return to his home country.

Dortmund signed Manuel Akanji from Basel earlier this month, leading to suggestions that one or two other centre-backs could depart before the window closes.

Bartra was signed by Dortmund following Mats Hummels's move to Bayern Munich, and was a regular fixture at the back for the club last season.

The 27-year-old suffered a broken bone in April, however, after the team bus was the target of an explosion prior to Dortmund's Champions League tie with Monaco.
