Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Bruno Lage says that Adama Traore "has everything" to be a success at Barcelona.
During the closing days of the January transfer window, the Catalan giants signed the winger on a deal until the end of the season, possessing the option to turn that into a permanent move for £29m.
Traore arguably produced his best performance of the campaign on Sunday against Atletico Madrid, providing an assist as his new side defeated Atletico Madrid by a 4-2 scoreline at Camp Nou.
While there are no guarantees that Barcelona will push through a full-time transfer, Lage has backed the 26-year-old to impress at a club that he represented during his youth days and the early stages of his professional career.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Lage said: "I believe Adama has everything to have success in his hometown and at his old club. I wish him all the best because every time he was a good professional.
"Adama started very well the season and he should scored three or four goals. In between he had some games when he did not so well, but from the first day until the last day he worked very hard and he was very professional.
"I was very happy with him, especially in the last month with Pedro (Neto) out and Hwang (Hee-chan) out. He gave us a lot of impact when he jumped from the bench or started, it was very good."
Traore will hope to feature again when Barcelona meet Espanyol in La Liga on Sunday.
