Midfielder Ivan Rakitic says that there are "several things that I did not like" which have occurred at Barcelona this season.

Ivan Rakitic has acknowledged that he has not always enjoyed life at Barcelona since the beginning of this season.

While frequently being linked with a move away from Camp Nou, Rakitic has spent periods out of the team, being restricted to 10 starts and 13 substitute outings this season.

While the Croatia international played the full 90 minutes against Levante on Sunday, the 31-year-old has admitted that he has been unhappy in recent months.

Rakitic is quoted by Goal.com as saying: "There have been several things that I did not like. I say it very clearly. We know there are people who make decisions but here we are not to laugh or enjoy.

"In the end the best thing for the club has to be what is good. We must accept not to understand some things."

Rakitic has less than 18 months remaining on his contract with the Catalan giants.
