Gerard Deulofeu has returned to Everton on a permanent deal from Barcelona.
The winger, who spent the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Goodison Park, has moved to Merseyside in a deal worth £4.2m.
"Gerard needs no introduction to anyone here at Everton, for we are all well aware of his incredible footballing talent," manager Roberto Martinez told the club's official website.
"We got to know him really well from his loan period, not only as such a talented player but also his great character. He will be a fantastic asset to our club."
Deulofeu has signed a three-year contract, with Everton having the option to extend that by a further 12 months.
The contract also includes a release clause that gives Barca the right to re-sign him within the next two years, while the European champions also have a right of first refusal if Everton decide to sell the 21-year-old.
During his first stint with the Toffees, Deulofeu scored three goals in 29 outings.
