Barcelona want to sign Gremio attacker Everton and Flamengo defender Rodrigo Caio in January, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly determined to land both Gremio attacker Everton and Flamengo defender Rodrigo Caio during the January transfer window.

The Spanish champions are expected to be active in the winter market, with a new attacker and a new defender believed to be priorities for Ernesto Valverde's side.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have identified Brazil duo Everton and Caio as targets at the start of 2020, and the Catalan giants are lining up swoops for both players.

The report claims that a team of scouts from the La Liga giants have been watching the pair in action during the Copa Libertadores, which will conclude next month when River Plate face Flamengo in the final.

Everton, who impressed for Brazil at the 2019 Copa America, has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent days with the 23-year-old starring in his homeland.

Caio, meanwhile, came through the youth system at Sao Paulo, and the 26-year-old went on to represent the Brazilian club on close to 300 occasions before a switch to Flamengo in the latter stages of 2018.
