Barcelona are hoping to raise more than £117m through player sales this summer in order to fund their pursuits of Lautaro Martinez and Miralem Pjanic.

Barcelona are said to be hoping to raise more than £117m through player sales when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Reports have claimed that the Spanish champions have put six players on the transfer list as they look to raise funds in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Barca are still keen to strengthen this summer, with Lautaro Martinez and Miralem Pjanic on their list of targets, but they will likely need to sell before they buy, having already been forced to impose a wage cut on their players during lockdown.

The six players allegedly up for sale are worth a combined £117.45m, according to values on Transfermarkt, although those fees have plummeted since the coronavirus outbreak hit.

Ousmane Dembele is the most expensive player on the market at £50.4m, although that is still less than half what Barcelona paid to sign him from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

Ivan Rakitic and Junior Firpo are valued at £18m apiece, while goalkeeper Neto is priced at just over £13m, Arturo Vidal comes in at £9.9m and Jean-Clair Todibo is worth £8.1m.

Barcelona are understood to be willing to use those players as part of swap deals too, which could help to lower the cash outlay Inter Milan and Juventus are demanding for Martinez and Pjanic respectively.
