Barcelona are reportedly keen on bringing Leicester City youngster Sidnei Tavares to Camp Nou.
The 19-year-old moved up to Leicester's Under-23s side over the summer and has featured on three occasions in Premier League 2 this term, contributing one assist.
The Portuguese's existing deal at the King Power Stadium is due to expire this summer, though, and according to The Sun, the Foxes have 'made no attempts' to open talks over an extension.
First-team manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be an admirer of the teenager, but Barca are allegedly hopeful that offering 'a sizeable sum' this month will allow them to complete a deal.
Tavares, who is the cousin of former Manchester United attacker Nani, has also been linked with Juventus, Porto, Celtic and Bayern Munich.
The central midfielder has represented Portugal at Under-18s and Under-19s level.
