Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says that the club want Xavi "to finish his career" at the Spanish outfit.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has insisted that the club want to keep Xavi at the club for the remainder of his career.

The 32-year-old, who has made 637 appearances for the Spanish outfit, still has two years remaining on his current deal.

"We will do everything we possibly can and I think he would also really like to finish his career here," Rosell told reporters.

Barcelona currently top La Liga with 15 points.
