Former Barcelona star Robert Prosinecki has dismissed suggestions that the trio of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi will struggle to adapt together.
The ex-Croatia international midfielder revealed that John Cruyff claimed that the three forwards would find it difficult to play together, but Prosinecki disagrees with the Dutchman's assessment.
He told Jutarnji: "Johan Cruyff, who was my coach and I respect him a lot, says Messi, Neymar and Suarez can't play together. Well I say they can.
"Ego can create problems, but Neymar and Suarez know Messi is number one and they are very hungry for trophies, especially Suarez who has none.
"For me, Messi is number one. Okay, last season wasn't so great, but in the previous three he played as no one ever before."
Barca are currently third in La Liga following a shock 1-0 defeat to Celta Vigo on Saturday.
