Barcelona boss Hansi Flick will be forced into a change of goalkeeper for Wednesday's La Liga meeting with Getafe at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
The league leaders maintained their perfect start to the season with a comprehensive 5-1 win over Villarreal, but the result was overshadowed by a serious injury sustained by goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The German has undergone surgery on a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee and is set to miss around eight months of action.
Ter Stegen has joined a lengthy absentee list which features Dani Olmo, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen.
With Ter Stegen sidelined, Barcelona's backup goalkeeper Inaki Pena will come into the side to make his first competitive start since February.
Pena is set to be shielded by the central defensive pairing of Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi, with the latter set to return to the side after dropping down to the bench at the weekend.
Cubarsi's fellow academy product Alejandro Balde is also in line for a recall and should feature on the left side of defence, while Jules Kounde will retain his place at right-back.
Like Cubarsi and Balde, Marc Casado was rotated out of the starting lineup against Villareral, but he is set to return to the side to join Pedri in the Barcelona midfield.
Flick will have to decide whether to stick with Pablo Torre or bring in Ferran Torres, who is available for selection after serving a one-match ban for the red card that he received against Girona.
Lamine Yamal and Raphinha will keep their spots in the Barcelona attack, having registered eight goal contributions apiece in La Liga this season.
Meanwhile, the in-form Robert Lewandowski will continue to lead the line, with the striker looking to add to the six league goals that he has scored this term.
Barcelona possible starting lineup: Pena; Kounde, Cubarsi, Martinez, Balde; Casado, Pedri; Yamal, Raphinha, Torres; Lewandowski
