Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has insisted that teammate Kylian Mbappe cannot be compared to Lionel Messi as the two players have contrasting styles of play.
Mbappe has enjoyed another impressive campaign in front of goal with 33 strikes to his name in all competitions, including eight goals in nine Champions League games.
The France international is widely expected to go on to win the Ballon d'Or one day, though he still has a long way to go to match Messi's tally of six.
Neymar spent four seasons playing alongside Messi at Barcelona and now links up with Mbappe for PSG, but he cannot see any similarities between the two players.
"There's no comparison," he said. "They have two very different styles of play.
"Messi is the best player I've seen, and Kylian is on his way to becoming one of the best."
Neymar and Mbappe played a full part as PSG held on to see off Bayern Munich 3-3 on away goals in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final tie.
