Midfielder Sergio Busquets has revealed that the Barcelona squad knew "a little bit" about Andre Gomes's struggles at Camp Nou.
Gomes has claimed that life at the Catalan giants has become "a bit of a hell" for him after struggling to make an impact after his big-money move from Valencia in 2016.
However, Busquets has acknowledged that he and his teammates will look to help the Portuguese international, who continues to play a part in the majority of Ernesto Valverde's first-team squads.
At a press conference, the 29-year-old told reporters: "We knew about it a little bit, but we are colleagues and we are trying to be with him. But he is the one that experiences it and takes it home. The fans, we have to be positive and try to help him to achieve important things.
"We are doing well but it is not good that he is feeling like this. We all try to go in the same direction."
Gomes could feature when Barcelona play host to Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
