Barcelona wait on Andres Iniesta, Xavi

Andres Iniesta and Xavi both miss training with Barcelona on Wednesday morning.

Andres Iniesta and Xavi have both emerged as doubts for Barcelona's Copa del Rey last-32 clash against Segunda Division B side Cartagena on Friday.

Neither were present during the Catalan outfit's main training session on Wednesday morning, with both forced to work separately from the main group as they recover from complaints.

According to Football Espana, Iniesta is struggling with a muscular complaint in his left leg, while Xavi felt his calf in the 1-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao at the weekend.

The Spanish champions were handed good news with Jordi Alba, however, with the left-back continuing his recovery from a thigh injury by taking part in the main session.
