Xavi: 'Future is bright for Barcelona'

Barcelona midfielder Xavi insists that the Catalan outfit will continue to win titles in his absence.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has insisted that his departure from the Catalan outfit "is not the end of an era".

The Spaniard will play his final game for Barcelona in the Champions League final against Juventus on Saturday.

However, the veteran, who has been at the Camp Nou since 1991, is convinced that he is leaving the club in good hands.

"It is not the end of an era. I will be gone, but we have exciting young players that are here to stay and will win titles," Xavi told reporters at a press conference.

Xavi will join Qatari side Al Sadd on a two-year deal this summer.
