Arda Turan to miss Barcelona clash?

Arda Turan emerges as a doubt for Atletico Madrid's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Atletico Madrid could be without the services of Arda Turan for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Barcelona at the Vicente Calderon.

The Turkish international missed the 1-0 win over Villarreal at the weekend with a hernia issue, which has troubled the midfielder in recent weeks.

Turan also missed training on Monday afternoon and has therefore emerged as a serious doubt alongside leading scorer Diego Costa, who is still struggling to overcome a thigh injury.

The first leg of the European contest finished 1-1 at the Camp Nou last week.

Raul Garcia, however, is available after missing the clash last week through suspension.
