Sunday's Brasileiro football predictions including Atletico Mineiro vs. Bragantino

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Brasileiro fixtures, including Atletico Mineiro vs. Bragantino.

Bahia vs. Fluminense (Sunday, 7.00pm)

Bahia need at least one win in their final two matches to remain in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A next year, with their next opportunity coming on Sunday at Fonte Nova Arena when they host Fluminense.

The team from Salvador have lost consecutive fixtures in league play and are two points below the relegation line, while Flu have a chance to move into a top-five position with a win and some help.

We say: Bahia 1-1 Fluminense

Fluminense are not a great road side, losing four straight matches by a single goal, but they did win this exact fixture last year against them, and they have usually been able to answer a defeat by picking up at least a point in their next fixture.

Bahia have conceded the second-most goals in the league (49), so we expect Flu to have at least a few scoring opportunities, although they should be able to earn a result given the precision of Gilberto in attack, who is capable of making his chances count.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Corinthians vs. Gremio (Sunday, 7.00pm)

Gremio have two matches remaining to try and salvage this season and keep their place in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A next year as they head to Tatuape to face Corinthians on Sunday at Neo Quimica Arena.

Timao can assure themselves at the very least a place in the 2022 Copa Libertadores qualifiers with a win, while Immortal Tricolor are in real danger of falling into the second tier of Brazilian football currently three points below the relegation line.

We say: Corinthians 1-0 Gremio

All year long, the Corinthians back four have almost always been in the right place at the right time to make timely challenges and are usually in the perfect position, and it helps when they only have to contend with a few attacks each game because Timao traditionally have the majority of the possession.

Despite a good bounce-back performance on Thursday, Gremio are often caught out of position at the back, especially away from home, having conceded seven times in their previous three away matches.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Atletico Mineiro vs. Bragantino (Sunday, 7.00pm)

The newly crowned Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A champions, Atletico Mineiro, will face Bragantino in their final domestic home fixture this year on Sunday from Mineirao.

Galo clinched the title with a dramatic come from behind victory, 3-2 over Bahia, while Braga are winless in their previous four matches in all competitions, falling 1-0 to Juventude at the end of November.

We say: Atletico Mineiro 1-1 Bragantino

Bragantino have struggled to score goals, especially away from home, but they could be playing Galo at a good time as the Brazilian champions have nothing to play for domestically except for the Copa do Brasil, so they may not push themselves as hard as Bragantino.

Even though Braga have more to play for, they are in a slump and struggling to find many attacking solutions at the moment.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Ceara vs. America Mineiro (Sunday, 10.00pm)

After 36 league games, Ceara and America Mineiro enter Sunday's encounter with the same number of points and identical goal difference in the Campeonato Brasileiro table.

Both sides are looking to end the season well as they seek to secure a place in next season's Copa Libertadores.

We say: Ceara 1-1 America Mineiro

America Mineiro are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Ceara, and given the fact that five of those meetings ended all square, we think that Sunday's encounter will finish level.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
