Report: Atletico Madrid increase Antoine Griezmann buyout clause

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has had his buyout clause increased "significantly," according to a new report.

Atletico Madrid have increased the buyout clause of Antoine Griezmann, according to reports in Spain.

AS claims that Griezmann, who only joined the La Liga side at the start of last season, has had his release clause upped "significantly" from its original point of €65m (£46.2m).

While the length of his contract has not been extended, it is also reported that the 24-year-old forward has received a pay rise.

The France international scored 25 goals in 54 appearances last term, with Bayern Munich and Chelsea said to have shown an interest in his signature earlier this summer.
