Goals from Manolo Gabbiadini and Simone Tiribocchi handed Atalanta all three points against Bologna this afternoon.
Both sides found goalscoring chances hard to come before the break as the opening half ended level.
However, five minutes after restart the home side went in front courtesy of Gabbiadini. Cristian Raimondi was the creator, crossing in for Gabbiadini to head in from close range.
The victory was made certain in the 90th minute when Tiribocchi scored from inside the area following a pass from Maximiliano Moralez.
