Premier League trio 'eyeing £3m Neil Taylor swoop'

Swansea left-back Neil Taylor emerges as a reported £3m summer target for Aston Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Sunderland are all reportedly vying for the signature of Swansea City full-back Neil Taylor.

The Wales international's contract at the Liberty Stadium is set to expire in the summer of 2016 and this has apparently prompted a selection of Premier League clubs to line up a deal for the 26-year-old.

According to The Mirror, the Swans are not looking to offer Taylor a new contract, news that has alerted Newcastle, Villa and Sunderland.

It is thought that any potential suitor may be able to land Taylor for as little a £3m at the end of this season.

Taylor joined Swansea from fellow Welsh club Wrexham in 2010.
