Aston Villa have decided to prepare a new contract for forward Gabriel Agbonlahor, according to reports.
The 27-year-old is Villa's longest-serving player at the club, but only has one year remaining on his current deal.
According to The Telegraph, Villa are willing to hand Agbonlahor, who made his debut in 2006, a four-year contract when discussions begin in the summer.
The club are expected to be busy over the next few months, with reports suggesting that both Fabian Delph and Ron Vlaar could put pen to paper on new contracts.
Paul Lambert's side, who are currently 12th in the Premier League, take on Manchester United this Saturday.
