Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar said that their fightback in the 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion was proof of the belief that the side have.
The Villans trailed 2-0 until Karim El Ahmadi and Ashley Westwood got them back into in the second half.
"[The fightback] says something, of course," Vlaar told Sky Sports News.
"Last year, we were a goal down, or two goals down and we lost our heads, but this season, we don't let [our heads] down.
"We go on and we believe in ourselves. We still make mistakes and keep going, and the most important thing is we can get results."
The draw leaves Villa in 12th in the Premier League.
