Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood believes that Tom Cleverley can continue to add more goals to his game.
The midfielder has netted in his last two games, with the latest coming in the 3-2 victory over Everton at Villa Park on Saturday.
Sherwood believes that Cleverley has shown previously that he can be a goalscoring threat.
"I was pleased for Tom after the Everton game because he was excellent in midfield - and he scored," Sherwood told the Birmingham Mail. "I think he can add goals to his game too. He has two in two now.
"He can burst from midfield and when he gets in there he has a cool head. I saw him score many, many goals when he was on loan from Man Utd to Watford. That was a few years ago but you don't lose that. You don't lose that knack. I think we need to get that back.
"Overall in the Everton game, he was very, very good. He proved he is really focused on doing the job for Villa and he showed the quality he has. He works tirelessly. But he has more than that - he can burst forward and score."
Cleverley is currently on loan to Villa from Manchester United.
