Fabian Delph back in training with Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert reveals that defender Fabian Delph is back in training six weeks after undergoing surgery on a dislocated shoulder.

Fabian Delph has returned to training with Aston Villa six weeks after dislocating his shoulder.

The defender underwent surgery in October after suffering the injury during a fall in training, and had been expected to be out until the New Year.

Manager Paul Lambert told reporters: "Fabian trained with the team today. It was non-contact with Fabian at the moment. But he is doing really well. Slowly but surely we are starting to get them back."

Villa host Leicester City in the Premier League this weekend.
